Ingredients
Serves 4+
White onion – 1 medium-sized onion (approximately 1 cup chopped)
Chopped garlic – 2 cloves
Shitake mushrooms – 3 to 4 large mushrooms
Mushroom broth – 4 cups
Rice (bomba) – 1 cup
Olive oil – 3/4 cup
Salt – To taste
Supplies:
2-3 lb natural briquettes or lump charcoal

A paella pan or the large size skillet of The Sizzling Pack
Preparation
Step 1:
Classic Mode (320ºF - 390ºF). Light your Keveri H1 in the Classic Mode and wait for it to reach approximately 350°F.
Step 2:
Heat olive oil in a paella pan or skillet over medium heat.
Step 3:
Sauté chopped onion until golden brown, then add minced garlic and shitake mushrooms.
Step 4:
Stir in rice and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 5:
Pour in mushroom stock, add salt to taste, and mix well.
Step 6:
Cover and cook in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes.
Step 7:
Afterward, add green beans on top and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
Step 8:
Remove from the oven and top with serrano slices before serving.
Cook's Notes:
Sauté the onions until golden for maximum flavor infusion. Shitake mushrooms add a delightful earthiness, while bomba rice absorbs the savory essence of the mushroom broth, creating a satisfying texture.
